Project: Modelling and estimating complex radar objects.
Paolo is an ER Marie Curie fellow in the TRAX ITN since July 2015. Previously, he was a fellow in the MULTIPOS ITN. Before his ITN experiences, he received his doctorate in the Telecommunications Engineering Department from the University of Rome (Tor Vergata). He completed his undergraduate studies and Masters degree in Computer Engineering and Science at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. His primary research interests fall into the broad category of performance modelling, where he has worked with telecommunications system models (4G WiMAX, LTE) and more recently, he focused on process modelling and context-aware (sensor) computing. Within the scope of the TRAX network, his task is to investigate and develop new methods for extended radar object modelling.
